A Desirable Future

My entry piece for the Golden Ticket contest here on art station; the theme was “A desirable future imagined by your inner child”. To combat the threat of rising CO2 levels, I imagined a future where we combined self-replicating nanotechnology to build (or "grow" ) structures that processed the air as plant life does while also serving as living space. Self-perpetuating, AI-controlled drones roam freely through the air seeking carbon rich zones to actively process. For regions that have become too hot to inhabit, we've installed massive, specially designed shelters while cities construct themselves.
